She spent many years after receiving her undergraduate degree apprenticing an Amma massage therapist and studying Traditional Chinese Massage in Boulder, Colorado which directed her to the field of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. In 2009 Abigail received a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture.
Abigail’s practice centers on treating the root of the problem, rather than focusing solely on the apparent symptoms. Additionally, she recognizes that preventative care is the ground work for a patient to live a healthy and full life. As well as acupuncture, Abigail incorporates into her practice the use of Chinese herbs, non-insertive needling techniques, tui na (a style of Asian massage), moxibustion, magnets, cupping and uses both Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture. As an acupuncturist, she supports patients in cultivating mind-body awareness. She is committed to helping the community experience whole body health and wellbeing through the use of education and treatment.
