Linda Morse, is an acupuncturist/herbalist/owner of acupuncturereviewclasses and a pioneer of board review classes having been teaching the classes herself for over fourteen years. She is Board Certified (NCCAOM, 2000) and a licensed acupuncturist in the States of California(2002), Massachusetts (2001), Maine (2014) and New Hampshire (2003). Dr. Morse received her Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture (1999) at the top-ranked Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, California. After receiving her master’s degree she went on to pursue her Ph.D. in Oriental Medicine. She graduated summa cum laude from both schools.
Linda Morse teaches NCCAOM® and California State Board acupuncture licensing exam review classes. Linda previously was on staff at Emperor’s College, and Samra University teaching various Chinese medicine classes. She is the author of “Examination Workbook for Oriental Medicine” which has recently gained international recognition.
Linda has recently moved to the southern Maine area where she will open a new practice bringing her 15 years of experience in acupuncture and herbal medicine to the residents of southern Maine. She has studied with world-renowned acupuncturists and herbalists over the years. In addition, she is a third degree Reiki master and has also been an NAET allergy elimination specialist in Los Angeles for many years. For the past thirty years she has been involved with organic foods, organic herbs and environmentally conscious life choices for health. Using a host of traditional Chinese treatments as well as her other treatment modalities gives her the cutting edge to help you realize your full potential of health in your mind, body and spirit! Her warm and caring approach is holistic and individualized to your personal needs. Her specialties include facial acupuncture, stress related conditions, anxiety, pediatric illnesses, and allergy elimination.
Born and raised in the greater Boston area of Massachusetts, her undergraduate studies were in music at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, and over the years, she has instructed many students on piano. Dr. Morse has also mentored professional musicians with specific techniques for overcoming their performance anxiety. This work was instrumental in the promotion of her teaching skills, so that today she is a noted lecturer and beloved teacher who has been teaching for over forty years.
Her extensive work and experience with herbs and foods in this setting, set up a natural progression for her to enter the field of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Her interest in acupuncture stemmed from her early interest in herbs during the 1970′s. In the years to follow, she and her husband owned and operated an organic farm with a national distribution of herbal vinegars and tinctures. Together, they lectured extensively on the uses and benefits of medicinal herbs. In addition, they conducted classes on growing organic vegetables, herbs and flowers, and on sustainable agriculture. Her extensive work and experience with herbs and foods in this setting, set up a natural progression for her to enter the field of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
